- While incorporating features of traditional enterprise-class PBXs, the CudaTel Communication Server is a next-generation communication platform. The CCS features automated handset provisioning, call routing, recording, call queueing, parking, unified messaging/voicemail, conferencing and conference bridges and more, with no per box, per feature, or per user restrictions.
- Which phones are supported by the CudaTel Communication Server(CCS)?
- CCS supports any SIP compliant handset or softphone, and is provider agnostic. However, built-in automated provisioning is supported for specific Polycom and Snom handsets.
- How does the automated handset provisioning work?
- By simply plugging a phone into the network of the CCS, the CudaTel Communication Server will discover compatible phones on the network. A few clicks later, phones can be assigned to users by phone MAC address and are immediately live after a quick and automatic handset reboot.
- Can I use analog phones and devices?
- Yes, with a hardware Analog Telephone Adapter, analog phones can be connected to the system like any other handset.
- Does the system have FAX support?
- Yes, Fax to Email and PDF is natively supported. Phone and extensions can be assigned so every user of the system has their own dedicated/personal fax line.
- What sort of sound quality does the CCS have?
- The CudaTel Communication Server supports High Definition audio codecs - providing near CD-quality sound from handset to handset, including conference bridges. Compatible handsets are required.
- How much are the per user or per seat fees?
- CudaTel does not charge any per user or per port fees. Additionally, servers are not restricted to a specific count of users, rather an recommended capacity is provided.
- Can I connect my CudaTel to X phone company?
- The CudaTel Communication supports SIP-compliant VOIP server providers, as well as integrated TDM hardware for traditional phone lines. Connectivity to your provider is assured.
